Manchester Proud looks ahead

The Board of School Committee’s 12-1 vote on Feb. 20, 2020 to “accept with gratitude” our community’s plan for the future of our schools was a beginning – not an end.

In early March, our Community Planning Group and Manchester Proud Champions Council had the first of what we expect will be many discussions about Manchester Proud’s future work. As we clarify the path forward, our goals are clear: We want to continue our partnership with the Board of School Committee, school district, and city. And we want to not only maintain but expand the existing powerful and critical community engagement with our schools.

We will share news of our progress and future events on our website, social media pages, and in bi-monthly newsletters. If you’d like to join our subscriber list, email us at We do not share names or emails with third parties, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
