Manchester Proud (MP) is seeking to hire a Coordinator to assist its Champion’s Council and staff in ongoing definition and pursuit of its strategic initiatives. The Coordinator is a new part-time position, reporting to MP’s Chair and Council.
The Coordinator will work remotely, but local residency is required. While many work-related meetings will be online, attendance at in-person meetings, including monthly MP Council meetings and public presentations, is expected.
Position Title: Manchester Proud Coordinator
Compensation and Benefits: Hourly TBD, part-time, non-benefited
Reimbursements: Reimbursement for authorized business expenses and necessary tools
Hours of Work: Estimated 16 hours per week on average, with considerable flexibility and accommodation of time off
Relationships: Manchester Proud Chair and Champion’s Council, Community Partnerships
Coordinator (CPC), and Community Communications Coordinator (CCC)
Specific Core Functions:
The Coordinator will serve as Manchester Proud’s primary strategist and a key spokesperson. In collaboration with Manchester Proud’s Chair, Champion’s Council, and Community Partnerships Coordinator, the Coordinator will oversee the work of Manchester Proud, ensuring mission conformance and sustained strategic relevance.
